Rope Access Manager :

Ensure the efficient and profitable operation of the rope access business unit by pursuing and converting business opportunities for Rope Access Services . Oversee plan and resource for rope access site operations in the whole of UAE in compliance with the requirements of IRATA.

Areas of Responsibility-

1. Manage a team of Operations Supervisors (including subcontractors) including monitoring and authorization of weekly timesheets and expenses, conduct regular staff appraisals and assist senior management with disciplinary matters

2. Liaise with the Client where appropriate

3. Promote safe working practices, ensure full implementation and compliance with the policies and procedures

4. Audit and inspect on-site procedures to the stipulated frequencies

5. Authorize Method Statements and Risk Assessments

6. Prepare Quotation and Tenders for Rope Access Projects

7. Undertake sufficient number of on-site duties to maintain existing competencies

8. Manage the usage of operational equipment ensuring that any repairs, servicing or calibration is carried out in a timely manner and any new equipment is purchased correctly in accordance with Operational Procedures

9. Liaise with the Stores Supervisors to ensure that all required checks are up to date and records are kept in a tidy and consistent manner

10. Report and assist in the investigation of any accident, incident or near miss

11. Ensure the efficient and profitable operation of the rope access business unit

12. Identify and develop profitable new business opportunities

13. Oversee the planning and organization of appropriate allocation of resources

14. Through regular site visits, ensure all working procedures, practices and systems are followed

15. Ensure projects are completed to deadlines

Qualifications and Experience-

• Must hold IRATA Level III certification

• At least 2 years of Rope Access experience with managerial experience in a similar capacity

• NDT and On Shore maintenance work experiences.
